Convert Canon HF R52 AVCHD/MP4 to ProRes for FCP X

I have a Canon VIXIA HF R52 and I need help importing my HD videos that i know I shoot in 1080P, to FCP X. It wont let me click on them, there transparent and it wont allow it. can someone help me figure this problem out?
