Load Canon XA75 footage
Download, install and run the MXF to ProRes Converter on your Mac computer; click “Add File” button to load your source MXF videos from Canon XA75 .
Set output option
Select output format for Final Cut Pro. Click “Format” pull down list to select “Final Cut Pro > Apple ProRes 4222 (*.mov)” as the best video format for Final Cut Pro and its previous versions. Apple ProRes 4444 MOV format is the good choice as well. You can click “Settings” button to adjust video and audio parameters to get the best quality video. You can also keep them as default.
